Wilma Mullis

Wilma Nadine Mullis, age 83 of Troy, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church in Troy with Rev. John Clark, Rev. Ken May  Rev. Andrew Knick officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the church.  Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Mullis was an active, kind, giving and loving member of Southside Baptist Church since 1954.  She was a lifetime resident of Troy and owner of Wilma’s Beauty Salon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mullis; her parents, Yarbrough Lee and Sarah Elizabeth Lassiter; six sisters and one brother.  She is survived by her son, Jim Mullis; daughter, Penny Dees; sister-in-law, Joyce Stephens; grandchildren, Wiley Dees (Brooke), Whitlee Mullis and Jay Mullis.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Mitchell, Terry Motes, Mike Lott, David Clark, Terry Anderson, Justin Wood, Johnny Witherington and Tony Smith.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Hospice Advantage or Southside Baptist Church.
