Willie Henderson

William “Willie” Wiley Henderson, age 92, of Banks, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Mack Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Enon Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Mr. Henderson will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service at the church. A visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015, from 5 -7 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents, George Oscar and Ella Stewart Henderson; wife of 64 years, Melva Grace Ingram Henderson; one brother; and three sisters. He is survived by his children, Dwight (Sherry) Henderson, David (Dianne) Henderson, Dennis (Libby) Henderson, Durward (Leslie) Henderson, and Barbara (Harold) Currie; grandchildren, Scarlet (Cliff) Ellis, Larry Vann, Alex Odell, Nathan (Kim) Currie, Kendall (Lindsay) Currie, Lisa (Tommy) Ostrom, Leigh Anne (Justin) Davis, Dianne Grace Henderson, Richard (Keisha) Byrd, Keisha Smith, Kristie Green, Hannah (Phillip) Durant, Beaux (Kelsi) Dykes, Justin Henderson, Brandi Henderson, and Jarrett Nobles; 20 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and one brother, Edward (Bonnie) Henderson.
