William "Bill" Mickle, Jr.

William “Bill” Edwin Mickle, Jr., age 60, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 13, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wise Mill Assembly of God Church with Reverends Kenneth Hagler and Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Freddie Hanchey, Gene Strickland, Mitch Marshall, Hunter Savage, Mike Waters, Andrae Medley and Eric Worley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elba High School class of 1975 and Eddie Kelley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Mickle was preceded in death by his parents, William Edwin Mickle, Sr. and Ruby Nell Mickle; grandparents, Dewey and Lessie Mickle and Dewey and Irene Wilkes; and aunt and uncle, James and Mary Kelley. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Chasity (Andrae) Medley of New Brockton, Mandy (Mike) Waters of Wicksburg, and Candace Perez of Texas; grandchildren, Montana Savage, Hunter Savage, Julianna McCollough, Riley McCollough, Jacob Waters, and Davis Waters; significant other, Dianne Vinson; brother, Ron (Joanie) Mickle;  sister, Renee (Mel) Smith; and uncle, Dewey Edward Wilkes.
