Thelma Mehaffey, age 85, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Pensacola, Fl. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms Mehaffey was an avid gardener who loved growing flowers.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Mehaffey. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Mehaffey (Linda), Hinton Mehaffey (Christine), Raymond Mehaffey (Lisa) and Dale Mehaffey (Tina); daughter, Wilma McDowell (George); sister, Junell Johnson (Tyrone), nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
