Sylvia Lowery

Sylvia Cecilia Lowery, age 83, of Troy died Monday, January 23, 2017 in Enterprise. Sylvia was a long time educator and librarian having worked at Rucker Boulevard Elementary and Zion Chapel Elementary Schools. She loved reading, puzzles of any kind and her cats. Her greatest joy was playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Green Hills Funeral Home's carriage will carry Sylvia to her graveside service to be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00AM from the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Danny Arnold and Brother Doug Finlay officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Survivors include; daughter and son-in-law, Lia and kerry Rester of Enterprise, honorary son, Walter White, honorary daughters, Bonnie Griffin, Nancy Wise and Stephanie Wilson, grandchildren, Aaron and Jamie Jones, Enterprise, Ashlyn and Brad Rials, Enterprise, Amelia and Doug Wren, Tyler, Tx., step granddaughter, Ashlee and Clay Garner, great grandchildren, Rebecca Jones, Oliver and Olivia Rials, Baker Wren, step great grandchildren, Taylor Register, Ella Grace Garner, sister -in-law, Sue Lowery, her caregivers, Sue and Jimmy Finger, Valerie James, Diane Smith, Ethel Brundidge and Ivey Jordan.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Zion Chapel Elementary School Library, 29256 AL 87, Jack, AL. 36346, or Rucker Boulevard Elementary School, 209 Regency Drive, Enterprise, Al. 36330.
