Steven Lowery Brabham, age 70, passed away on January 22, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Private burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery following the service.
Steve grew up in the Tanyard area and served in the US Army for 2 years. For over 25 years, he drove an 18 wheeler, first for Bonnie Plant Farm and then he finished his career with Lawson Trucking. He was awarded the “3 Million Miles - No Accident” award. Steve always lit up the room with his funny personality. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. He was an amazing husband and father, and he loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brabham; mother, Agnes Brabham; father, Franklin Brabham; aunt, Emily Brabham; and niece, Jordan Brabham. Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Amanda Brabham Jones (Mike), Kim Ellis (John), Bud Conway (Kristy); grandchildren, Haylee and Hunter Ellis, Ashley and Tyler Jones, Ethan, Trenton, and Josie Conway; brother, Danny Brabham; sister, Nancy Brabham (Randy); nieces and nephews, Jamie Sutherland (Melissa), Josh Brabham (Angie), Parker Brabham; as well as great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery Fund ℅ David Hutto. Friends and family may sign the guestbook online at www.greenhillsfuneralhome.net. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brabham family.
