Scott Chancellor

Scott Chancellor, age 45, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Chancellor will be at 11 am Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Zion Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Cary Mauldin and Shannon Moses officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy, AL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer “Buck” Chancellor.
He is survived by his step-dad and his mother, Rendall and Sylvia Ann Rainey, as well as one son, Brandon Scott Chancellor of Dothan, AL.

He was a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church, enjoyed watching football and baseball and was an avid Bama fan.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Smith, Brantley Sloop, David Rainey, Cody Joiner, Larry Dickey and Dewayne Chancellor.  Brandon and his classmates from the Northside Methodist Academy senior class in Dothan, AL., will serve as honorary pallbearers.
