Sammie Killingsworth

Ms. Sammie Prescott Killingsworth, age 71 of Goshen, died Sunday, August 21, 2011 at her residence.  Funeral services for Ms. Killingsworth will be held, Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Horn and Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.   Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Ms. Killingsworth was a wonderful caregiver and a nurse for 25 years.  She was a longtime resident of Brantley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Z.T. Prescott and Kate Maloy Prescott; two brothers, Jerry Dan Prescott and George Robert Prescott; a great niece Bethany Prescott.  She is survived by one son, Mickey W. Johnson (Diane) of Goshen; one daughter, Rhonda J. Miley (Mark) of Goshen; one brother, Bobby Jack Prescott (Joyce) of Brantley; one sister-in-law, Julia Prescott of Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Rod Villegas (Tonya), April Johnson, Peyton Taylor (Dusty), Kia Holliday, John Johnson, Richard Johnson (Kristan), Kelly Tomlin (Rusty), Blaine Farr; Seven great-grandchildren and her  longtime companion Bandit.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Steve Prescott, Robbie Prescott, Robert Prescott, John Prescott, Chris Miley and Tracey Hinton.
