Sabrina Stephens McWhorter

Sabrina Stephens McWhorter, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Green Hills Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon, Rev. Danny Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Brannon Golden, Alex Golden, Reed Golden, Marino Bolling, Mitch McLeod, and Tucker Shirley serving as pallbearers.  
Sabrina touched so many lives and was loved by so many for her gentle and kind heart. She was truly a peacemaker, and she made it a point to make all those around her feel important and special. She adored her family, and they always felt loved and cherished.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years: Rod McWhorter; children, Cole McWhorter (Ali Ellis), Reese McWhorter; granddaughter, Vivian Ellis; mother, Peggy Stephens; sisters, Sonya Bolling (Stan), Jennifer McLeod (Mark), Sharon Shirley (Kevin); brother-in-law, Jimmy Golden; nephews and nieces, Brannon Golden (Emilee), Alex Golden, (Kahla), Reed Golden (Courtney), Marino Bolling (Kristy), Mitch McLeod (Bailey), Mallory Irvin (Britt), Tucker Shirley, Sydnee Shirley, Landyn Shirley, Evan Davis, Eric Davis (Megan); great nieces and nephews, Bradunn Golden, Brody Golden, Ellie Golden, Kipton Golden,  Eva Kay Golden, Elsie Claire Golden, Camden McLeod, Avery Jane Irvin, Emma Marie Irvin, Barrett Grey Bolling, Mason Davis; mother-in-law, Ann McWhorter; sister-in-law, Anja Davis (Jeff); as well as special friends, Hugh & Mildred Finley.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Stephens and her sister, Lisa Golden.
