Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis, age 16, of Troy, Alabama, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. in Sandfield Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Dunn officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Banks Baptist Annex from 1 – 2 p.m.

Ryan loved music, especially the sounds of the 70s, with some of his favorites being Earth, Wind, and Fire “Shining Star” and the entire collection from Creedence Clearwater Revival. Ryan was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Irene Starling and Elouise Renfroe; grandmother, Jean Barron; and cousin, Justin Mills. He is survived by his mother, Kimberley Davis; grandparents, Bryant and Betty Jo Davis; aunt, Donna Mills; uncles, Brandon Davis and Jamie Barron; cousin, Bryan Teal; and numerous other extended  aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family wishes to extend many thanks to the caring staff and Dr. Margaret Winkler at Children’s Hospital of Birmingham for their exceptional care and attention.
