Roy Barron

Roy Lee Barron Age 61 of Troy died Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Montgomery. Roy was born May 21, 1957 in Pike County to the late Henry Jack Barrow and his living mother Lilly Maye Manley Barrow. he was also preceded in death by his children, Ivory Shanelle Tolver and Kevin Lamont Tolver. He  was a 1975 graduate of Charles Henderson High School and was retired from the United States Army.

Funeral services for Roy Barron will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Bishop Gregory Foster and Pastor Johnny McCray officiating.  The carriage of Green Hills Funeral Home will carry Roy to his graveside in the Green Hills Memorial Park Veteran's Garden where full military honors will be performed. Visitation will be held at Green Hills Funeral Home Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Survivors include his mother, Lilly Mae Barrow, his brothers and sisters, Joe Frank (Helen) Barrow of Troy, Johnny (Christine) Barron of Troy, Willie (Brenda) Barrow of Troy, Janet (Johnny McCray) of Troy, Denese (Major) Flowers of St. Petersburg, Fl., Carnel (Annie) Barrow of Troy, his special friends Harold "Biscuit" Arnold , James Neal, Edward Davis, Linda Jeater and his coworker and friend Ernie.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Charles Henderson High School class of 1975.

The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the Barron family.
