Roger Yearby

Roger C. Yearby, age 67, of Montgomery died Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born January 31, 1948 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama to Roman Clifford and Sibyl Wright Yearby. Mr. Yearby was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Vietnam War from1969 until 1970 with the Big Red One Battalion. He received the Bronze Star during his time in Vietnam. After his military career ended Roger became a long haul truck driver for the rest of his working years.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Roman Clifford Yearby and Sibyl Wright Yearby, his wife Charlotte Yearby and a SIster, Yvonne Boles. He is survived by two sons, Jared Yearby and David Yearby, daughter, Carol Yearby Perkins, a grandson, Christian Perkins, his sisters, Lynn Yearby Saliba and Rebecca Y. Given.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Green Hills Cemetery with Reverend Greg Duke officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 1:50 prior to the Graveside at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Yearby, David Yearby, Nathaniel Given, Aaron Given and Steven Saliba.
