Robert Junior Lee

Robert Junior Lee, age 83, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Funeral services will be At 2:00pm on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Green Hills Funeral Home. Rev. John Milton officiating. Burial will follow the service in Green Hills Memorial Veterans Park with military honors. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be the Unity Sunday School Class of which Robert was a member.

Mr. Lee was an active member of God’s Way Baptist Church. He also served honorably in the US Army. As a machine operator, Mr. Lee went on to work over 40 years for the state of Alabama DOT and retired from his work there. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Lee & Louise McLendon Lee; four siblings, Mary Rodgers, James S. Lee, Billy Lee, Dickie Lee; and great granddaughter, Emma Claire Sneed. Survivors include his children, Robert G. “Robbie” Lee (Melissa), Daphne Lee; siblings, Anna Floyd, Faye Blackwell, Ricky Lee, Gary Lee (Margie), Kathy Grimes (James), Jackie Lee, Brenda Taylor (Bobby); 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and special niece, Carla Phelps. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to God’s Way Baptist Church.
