Richie Flournoy Frazier

Richie Lee Flournoy Frazier, a resident of Troy, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Crenshaw County Hospital in Luverne, Alabama.  The funeral services for Richie lee Frazier will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 1:00pm at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Green Hills Cemetery.  

Mrs. Richie Lee Frazier was born on June 19, 1932 in Brundidge, AL and was the oldest child born to the late C.P. and Lilia Mae Flourney. She was married to the late Mr. Richard Pete Frazier and to this union one child was born. 

In 1960 she moved to Newark, NJ; and was baptized in 1964 and became a member of Newark Church of Christ. She worked at Henderson Industries, in Newark, NJ. In her later years, she returned home to Troy to be near her sisters, and became a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. 

Richie Lee Frazier departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Crenshaw County Hospital in Luverne, AL; she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Mary Frazier Bell, New Kent, VA; one grandson, Terrell Bell, New Kent, VA; one granddaughter, Rayshema Chalwell (Roosel), McClenny, FL; Sisters, Bertha Coleman and Ann Dixon of Irvington, NJ; Earmie (Ray) Money, Troy, AL; and Willie M. Fryer, Chicago, IL; one brother, L.V. Flourney, Brundidge, AL; and a host of nieces, nephew, great nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephew, cousins, Dear Brother in Christ, Brother Willie Cook, Newark, NJ and a host of friends.
