Retired Master Sergeant Walter Winston Gulley age 77, of Troy died Friday, May 25, 2018 in Troy . Walter was born in Robinsonville, Alabama to the late Walter Byron and Allie Blackmon Gulley. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Gulley and brother Bill Gulley. He served for 20 years and was retired from the United State Air Force and also from the Civil Service as a Weather Technician at the Troy Municipal Airport.
Funeral services for Walter Gulley will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Bo Weed officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Survivors include; wife, Jean Gulley of Troy, his children, Scott (Ann) Gulley of Montgomery, Melissa Gulley of Montgomery, Mark (Leah) Gulley of Matthews, N.C., his step children, Terry Whittington of Atlanta and Sharon McGraw of Lafayette, LA., his grandchildren, Hope, Karel, Allan, Joy, Elizabeth, Mark, Jr., and Rebecca Gulley, his step grandchild, Amanda Boyles, his step great grandchildren, Joseph, Liam and Noah, his brothers, Joe Gulley of Atmore, James Gulley of Pensacola and Tom Gulley of Springfield, TN.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Robinsonville Baptist Church ,PO Box 856 Atmore, Al. 36504.
