Reginald Lynn Mack, age 55, of Elba, Ala., passed from this world Sunday, May 29, 2011, after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services for Mr. Mack will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Westside Baptist Church in Elba, Ala., with Dr. James Newell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., at the church. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, Ala. Green Hills Funeral Home of Troy, Ala., directing.
He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.
Mr. Mack was an avid hunter, fisherman and a very good cook who touched many lives.
Mr. Mack was preceded in death by his father, Ulma Mack. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Mack; his son Christopher Mack (Danyale); two grandchildren, Danley and Bradley Mack; two brothers Brad Mack (Janice Moody) and Don Mack (Jackie); two sisters, Henrietta Grimes (James) and Kaye Whitworth (Ronnie); several nieces, nephews and friends.
