Pat Quattlebaum

Patsy V. “Pat” Quattlebaum, beloved wife, mother and “Granny” to her grandsons, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the age of 78.  Funeral services will be at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior, at Green Hills Funeral Home. Rev. Ross Lankford officiating.

Pat was raised and graduated from high school in Jemison, Alabama.  Her loving husband of 57 years, John, followed her home, they had one date, and she knew he was the one.  Pat spent 25 years working at the Charles Henderson Child Health Center and retired as Assistant Administrator.  She loved to read and enjoyed vacations in the mountains. She also liked watching hummingbirds and loved being “Granny” to her grandsons.  She loved her family and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, E.M. & Hellen Varden; her three sisters, Sue Martin, Ann O’Connor, Jean Foshee; and her brother, Bill Varden.  Loving survivors include her devoted husband, John Quattlebaum; daughters, Amber Q. Youngblood (Howard), Crystal Quattlebaum; grandsons, Logan Youngblood and Carson Youngblood; as well as many nieces and nephews.
