Olin Reeves
, age 74, of Luverne, AL, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Reeves will be Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland and Pastor Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Reeves will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at his home. The body will lie in state at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church one hour prior to service with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Reeves is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Myrtle Reeves, and one sister, Gladys Boswell.
He is survived by his wife Johnnie L. Reeves, one daughter Tina R. Faulkner (Jimmy); three brothers, Billy Reeves (Agnes) of Dozier, Bobby Reeves (Betty) of Dozier, Thurman “Short” Reeves (Doris) of Troy; three sisters, Connie Hayes of Luverne, Dollie Owens of Luverne, and Doris Boswell of Honoraville; two grandchildren, Christopher Reeves and Barry L. Reeves (Jessica); three great-grandchildren Madison Reeves, Barry Jayden Reeves, and Carmen Reeves.
