Norma Helms

Norma Jean Helms, age 79 of Troy died Friday, March 24, 2017 at her home. Norma was born in Texas March 30, 1937 to the late Leland Rifenberg and Velma Jackson Rifenberg. She married Clifton Helms July 11, 1957 and would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. She retired from the Pike County School System as a bookkeeper.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:30 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Ernest Green officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home 3:30 PM for the service.
Her survivors include; husband of 59 years, Clifton Helms, Daughter and son in law, Stacy and Bryan Freeman of Troy, her granddaughter, Rachel Freeman and her fiance, Allen Bruce and a sister, Patsy Simpson of Amarillo, Texas.
In liue of flowers memorials should be made to Compassus Hospice of Troy, 199 US Highway 231 North, Troy, Alabama 36081.
