Nola Hartzog Layton

Nola Hartzog Layton, age 76 of Clio, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Ozark Health & Rehabilitation. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2013 at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Clio, AL at 1:00 pm with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Layton was a lifetime member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and active in the women’s ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Damascus Hartzog and Richard Layton. She is survived by her son, Tommy Hartzog (Beverly), daughters, Patty Blankenship (Mike), Shari Pugh (Ricky); brothers, Wilburn Smith (Louise), Jerry Smith(Jessica), Ricky Smith, Ronnie Smith; sister, Martha Strickland (Jack); grandchildren, Eric Blankenship(Marion), Matthew Blankenship (Mindy), Dave Hartzog, Zane Hartzog, Amber Hartzog, Erica Barron(Matthew); great grandchildren, Cole and Paige Blankenship, Mattox and Micah Blankenship and Layne Barron.
Pallbearers will be Sid Strickland, Joe Strickland, Terrell Smith, Donnie Johnson, Pat Johnson and Johnny Turvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Clyde and Bennie Dean Herring.
