Nancy Grubbs Taylor

Nancy Grubbs Taylor, a resident of the Glenwood community, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. A memorial service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Mallone Chandler officiating. 

Born in Alabama, Nancy moved just down the road to Glenwood and lived. She had several hobbies such as crocheting, gardening, canning fruit, but she loved auto races. She was a “card carrying” member of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). She will be missed by all who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Taylor; her parents, Mims & Edna Grubbs; and her brother, Mike L. Grubbs. She is survived by her brother, Steve Grubbs, his wife, Nora; a niece, Miklynn J. Spencer; and great nephews and nieces, Signi Johnson, Stella Spencer, and Kingston Spencer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TARP (Troy Animal Rescue Project) in memory of Nancy. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Taylor family.
