Michael Joseph Mills, age 51, of Troy, died Saturday, November 23, 2013. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Dunn officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mills was a member and deacon at Banks Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Wilson Mills, mother, Vivian Florence Mills, brother, Leroy Wilson Mills, Jr. and son, Justin Mills. He is survived by his wife, Donna Mills; father-in-law, Bryant Davis, stepmother-in-law, Betty Jo Davis; mother-in-law, Jean Barron; stepson, Bryan Teal; brother, Jerry Lee Mills (Phyllis), brother-in-law, Jamie Barron, Brother, Brandon Davis; sisters, Sylvia Perdue and Cindy Harden (Ronald), sister-in-law, Kim Davis; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Robinson, Danny Harris, Wayne Stewart, Jamie Barron, Brandon Davis and Steve Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be the City Transit Employees and Deacons at Banks Baptist Church.
