Melvin Caffie, age 88 of Brundidge passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at his home. A memorial service for Melvin Caffie will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM from Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy. Visitation will also be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Survivors include; his wife of 61 years, Della Mae Caffie, his children, Livia Fenn, Denise Caffie, Jeffrey (Gussie) Caffie, Fred (Carolyn) Caffie, Nelson (Yulonda) Caffie all of Brundidge, grandchildren, Dedric Fenn, Spentressia Fenn, Curtavous Glenn, Currel Glenn, Nikki Caffie, Benwana Dixon, Stephanie Caffie, Fredrick Caffie, Quaesha Caffie Childs, Quavion Caffie, Quarissa Caffie, Qualiyah Caffie, 6 great grandchildren, Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ruthie Bell Caffie, daughter, Lillian Caffie, son, Harlan Caffie, brother, Willie Frank Caffie, Floyd Lee "FL" Caffie, Jadie Caffie and a Sister Myra Williams.
