Maudie Grant

Maudie Collene Grant, 86, resident of Bluff Springs, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Green Hills Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00pm. A chapel service will be on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the service in Green Hills Cemetery. Bro. Mrs. Grant was a loving mother and Grandmother, and a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She loved going to the Gospel Singings that were held on Saturday nights until her health prevented her. She was a great home maker and she passed that on to her children and grandchildren. It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved mother and friend.

Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Navy Jacobs; her husband, Lamar Grant; her brothers, Onie, Coley and Collis Jacobs; and daughter in law, Teresa Grant. She is survived by her sons, Rex Grant( Lynell) and Ricky Grant; grandchildren, Stacey (Chad) McLendon, Michelle (David) Taylor and Chris (Michelle) Grant; great grandchildren, Yaley McLendon, Abby, John David III, and Grant Taylor, Landon , Luke, Layton and Lennox Grant; and her special caregiver, Ann Johnson.
