Matthew Alan Caddy

Matthew Alan Caddy, friend to all, passed away at home in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Monday, December 9, 2024. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with visitation at Green Hills Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Matthew will be buried near his grandparents, James and Mary Caddy and James and Jean Snoddy. Honorary pallbearers are his niece and nephews.

He is survived by his father, Larry Caddy (Barbara) of Madison, Alabama, mother, Elizabeth Sluga (Mike) of Plant City, Florida; his brother, Jason Caddy (Tina) of Columbia, Tennessee; and niece and nephews, Zac (Katie), Luke (Kylee), Jesse and Shaina Caddy.

Matthew was born in Huntsville, Alabama. He loved his family, especially his niece and nephews, and had a big heart for everyone he met. Matthew enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He loved fast cars and had a great talent for making things, especially woodworking. Matthew worked in construction most of his life. He gave his heart to Jesus and enjoyed reading his Bible. He will be missed by all who knew him.
