Mary Tyler

Mary Allen Tyler, age 92 of Troy, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Troy Regional Medical Center.  She was born December 24, 1921 in Pike County.
A family graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on December 31, 2013 with Rev. Robert Miller officiating.
Ms. Tyler was a member of the First Assembly of God church of Montgomery.  She loved life.  She loved and cared deeply for her children and grandchildren and most of all she loved her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Rhoda Allen of Pike County; a brother, James F. Allen; a son, Rex Don Pugh; daughters, Mary June Pugh Horne, Charlotte Pugh Miller and Sara Pugh Miller.
She is survived by a brother, Gary Allen (Janis); daughters, Betty Pugh Hunt, Sandra Pugh Caldwell (Bill) and a son, Monte Allen Pugh (Kathy) and  17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.  Donations may be made to the Gideons International at PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800 or to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews at 30 North LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60602-2584.
