Marjorie Teal

Marjorie Williams "Mickey" Teal, age 94 of Troy died Monday, March 5, 2018 in Troy. Mickey loved her family dearly  and was especially devoted to her grandkids. She sang in the choir for Bush Memorial Baptist Church for 50 plus years and along with her husband John was an avid supporter of Troy University baseball, basketball and football.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Dwayne Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park  Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include; son and daughter in law, Freddie and Deborah Teal of Troy, Grandchildren, William F. (Torrey) Teal, Jr., Bailey Teal, her great grandchild, Blakley Teal, her sisters, Sue Hopson of Oxford, Myrtice Shirley of Jacksonville, Fl., brother, Robert F. Williams Jr., of Dublin, Ga., and a sister, Sylvia Knoots of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. Williams Sr., and Lessie Williams, her husband, John F. Teal, son, Johnny Teal, and her sisters, Annie Pelham and Catherine Moore.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Bush Memorial Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Bush Memorial Baptist Church, 605 S. George Wallace Drive, Troy, Al., 36081.
