Lois Aline Underwood

Lois Aline Underwood, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, May 3, 2024. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday, May 10, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Troy.  Elder Matt Tice officiating.  
Loving survivors include her daughters, Donna Hicks, Lynn Underwood; granddaughters, Kelly Lucas (John), Angelia Crane (Anthony), Stacey Beard, Donna Beard; grandsons, Eric Beard, Steven Beard; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Underwood; sons, Steven Underwood, Bob Beard; and her mother, Adaline Todd.
Mrs. Underwood was a hard working, creative mother who provided for her family and enjoyed taking care of others.  She finished several courses on woodworking and carpentry because it was something she had always wanted to learn so she could design and make cabinets for her own kitchen.  She was a devout member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints first in Enterprise and later in Troy when she moved to town to be near her daughter.  Lois loved the church and all of her friends and cared for her family and others like no other!  She will be missed by all who knew her.
