Linda Doris Oliver Duffell

Linda Doris Oliver Duffell gained her wings and took flight to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was 76 years young. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Brundidge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. J.C. Turner and Rev. Averyt Walker officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Trent Massey, Jeremy Norris, LaRue Oliver, Chris Oliver, Russell Oliver, Hayden Mobley, and Russ Oliver. 

Linda was born to Alex and Pearl Oliver on December 9, 1947, in Banks, Alabama. Raised in a big family, she was one of nine children. She married the love of her life, Wayne, on February 6, 1970. They had two boys who they shared their wonderful life with. Linda was known for her bright beautiful smile, silver white hair, and her love for her family. She had a head full of wisdom and was always full of advice which she gave daily. Linda was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she attended since childhood. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. 

Mrs. Duffell is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Duffell; daughter-n-law, Jamie Duffell; grandchildren, Whitney Hurst, Lexi Smith, Elizabeth Adamson, Taylor Duffell, Katlyn Duffell; great grandchildren who she loved with all her heart, Hayden, Brayleigh, Lea, Aryanna, Avery, Jaxson, Reid, Grayson, and Preston; brother, Howard Oliver; sister, Judy Nelson; as well as several nieces and nephews and her precious fur baby, Winston. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Duffell, Gregory Duffell; parents, Alex and Pearl Faulk Oliver; brothers, Rex Oliver, Bennie Oliver, Victor Oliver, Rueben Oliver, Tommy Ray Oliver; and her sister, Donna Jacobs.
