Lee Boyd

Lee E. Boyd, age 69, of Troy, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012. Funeral services for Mr. Boyd will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. David McVay officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.

Mr. Boyd was an active Mason and Shriner and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy, AL. He was an avid outdoorsman who golfed and also rode his motorcycle in all 48 lower states.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his loving wife, June Boyd and his son David Boyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Esther Jean Boyd and by his brother, Dale Boyd.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Troy Shrine Club and the Wesley-McArthur Sunday School class.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital or to the First United Methodist Church in his honor.
