Laura Frances Beasley, age 76 of Troy, passed away at her home on June 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 3:30 pm from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Minister George Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Veteran Garden with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beasley was a member of God’s Way Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Mattie Ruth Green; three brothers, James, Bill and Dewey Green; grandson, Jason Weeks. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mike Beasley of Troy, AL; daughters, Becky Parker (Randall) of Highland Home, AL, Joyce Golson (John) of Ozark, AL; brother, Murphy Green (Cathern) of Banks, AL; grandchildren, Michael Watts, Timothy Blair of Savannah, GA, Penny Childs (Mo) of Ozark, AL, Johnny Weeks (Becky) of TN, Jessica Cummings of Troy, AL Donna Cummings of TN; niece, Amanda Green of Troy, AL; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Elaine Senn of Enterprise, AL, Faye and Robert Yohn of Elba, AL, and Faith Yohn of Elba, AL.
