Larry Dallas Moses, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with visitation one hour prior at Green Hills Funeral Home. Rev. David Taylor officiating.
He was born in Cullman County, but spent most of his childhood in Morgan County, and graduated from Eva High School. He eventually moved south to Troy while working for Big K. During his tenure with Big K, he lived in Troy, Selma, Jasper, and eventually ended up in Rome, Georgia. In 1982, he began working in the mining industry in Sylvester, West Virginia, as a security officer and moved up the ranks to chief of security before his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and was always up to find a “treasure” at a local estate sale or auction.He was loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Loving survivors include his children, Amie Psarudakis (Andrew), Justin Moses; grandsons, Gavin Wade, Brodie Psarudakis; his brother, George Moses (Jane); his sister, Cathy Taylor (David); his sister-in-law, Jane Moses; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.D. & Marie Moses; and his brother, Tommy Moses.
