Johnny "Sherman" Powell age 55, of Troy died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his home. Johnny lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved seeing the country as a long haul truck driver.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with a cremation to follow . Visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include; wife, Mitzi Powell, son, Chad (Kelly) Powell, step-sons, Robert Hurt III., Austin Hurt, step-daughter, Brittney Hurt, grandchild, Tucker Powell, step-grandchildren, Wil Hurt, Logan Hurt, Jeremiah Hurt, sister, Carolyn, Brothers, Mack (Carmen) Powell, Larry (Judy) Powell, Herman (Willene) Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents, BW and Mauidia Powell, brothers, Billy Powell.
