John D. Quattlebaum

John D. Quattlebaum, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 84. Funeral services will be at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior at Green Hills Funeral Home. Dr. Ross Lankford officiating. John was born and raised in Cullman County, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University and spent 35 years as a teacher and administrator in public education before his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, all things Auburn, and being Grandaddy to his grandsons. John loved his family well and will be missed by all who knew him. 
John was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy V. “Pat” Quattlebaum, and parents G.G. and Loree Quattlebaum. Loving survivors include his daughters, Amber Q. Youngblood (Howard), Crystal Quattlebaum; grandsons, Logan Youngblood and Carson Youngblood as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Troy, Alabama.
