Jerry Cruse

Jerry Lee Cruse, age 81, of Pine Level, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Level Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Mr. Cruse was a longstanding, reputable lawyer with the Law Firm of Jerry Cruse in Montgomery, Alabama, for more than 50 years. He held the honors of being one from the first graduating class of Cumberland Law School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a longtime member of Pine Level Baptist Church, where he enjoyed exercising his cooking skills and spending time in fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alma Cruse; son, Jefferson Neal (Deb) Cruse of LaGrange, Georgia; and grandchildren, Alex (Leslieane) Cruse and Sydnie Cruse.  Friends and family can sign the guestbook and order flowers online at www.greenhillsfuneralhome.net.
