Jennifer Renee Richards, age 34 of Springhill, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Baptist South in Montgomery. Funeral services for Ms. Richards will be Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Jackson officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at the Union Springs church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born on July 22, 1977 to Ms. Flora Richards and Robert Tellis. She attended Troy and Springhill Elementary Schools. She graduated from PCHS in 1996. She went on to work briefly at Southland and Conagra Farms before attending Enterprise State Junior College. She spent the majority of her life being a caretaker and devoted friend. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Curtasia Denise Weary; maternal grandparents Grady Richards, Sr. and Artha M. Richards; paternal grandfather, Elbert Ted Tellis.
She leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Flora M. Richards; father, Robert Earl Tellis; grandmother, Thelma Tellis all of Troy, AL; brothers, Robert E. Tellis of Brundidge, AL; Reginald D. Russell, Michael L. Russell and Kenneth Walters all of Montgomery, AL; sisters, Cheryl Bean Davis of Troy, AL; Charlene Grayson of Enterprise, AL; aunts Rosie L.
