Jefferson Golden

Jefferson Grant Golden, age 80, formerly of Troy, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021.  A Celebration of Life visitation will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 3:00-5:00pm at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Loving survivors include his wife, Linda Wood Golden; his daughters, March Golden Penn (Brian), Shannon Golden Ray (Butch); his grandchildren, Zachary Grant Ray, Madison March Ray, Alexander Joseph Penn, Jackson Wood Penn; and his sister, Lavoy Betts (Daryl).  He also leaves behind brothers in law and sisters in law who were cherished, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Coon & Lura Bess Norman Golden; and his sisters, Norma McLeod, Frances Gregory and Jean Wible.

After 26 years, Mr. Golden retired from Troy State University and KHEAA.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
