James Kriss Hinton

James Kriss Hinton, age 71, of Dothan, formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020.  A private family graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Williams, Ricky Penton, Josh Penton, Diteous Sutton and Ron Jeffers.

He was employed at Sanders Lead for 31 years. He was the best husband and daddy anyone could ever have.  He attended Holmes Baptist Church.  He loved his church and church family.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made in his honor to the Pike County Animal Shelter (904 Henderson Highway, Troy, AL 36079).
