James Culpepper

James Randall Culpepper, age 49, of Luverne, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Funeral services will be Friday, July 17, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Faith Walk Ministries Church with Pastors Derek Sowell, Greg Melvin and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery with Chris Hale, Caleb Sowell, Mike Bellamy, Lee Cooper, Terry Kelley, Travis Colquette, Leon Hall, and Jeff Long serving as pallbearers and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. There will be a lie-in-state at the church Friday, one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 5 -7 p.m. at the church.  Mr. Culpepper was preceded in death by his father, James Culpepper, and his first wife, Joie W. Culpepper. He is survived by his mother, Mary Alice McVay Culpepper; wife, Lucy M. Culpepper; children, Torey (Brittany) Culpepper and Allison (Chris) Willingham; grandchildren, Aidan Culpepper and Harper Willingham; brother, Michael (Jennifer) Culpepper; sisters, Deborah (Bill) Atwell, Alicia Bond, and Hazel (Doug) Halliburton.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Faith Walk Ministries (c/o Travis Colquette, 153 Jeffcoat Street Luverne, AL 36049).
