Iyanna Delores Fenn was born January 29, 1983 to Bonnie Mae Fenn in Pike County, Alabama. She joined Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, and her love for the Lord was apparent throughout her life and in everything she did. Iyanna graduated from Pike County High School and went on to earn her masters degree in human resources from Troy University. She fulfilled her love for her field in Human Resource Management and Development at U.S. Army Garrison - Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
During the afternoon of December 31, 2023, Iyanna gently departed from this life to her eternal home. She lived a life of joy, laughter, and fun -- and she touched the hearts of everyone in her presence. Her love for her family and friends will live on.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bonnie Fenn. She leaves to cherish many beautiful memories: her mother, Bonnie Mae Fenn; brother, Michael Fenn (Lynette); grandmother, Mary Emma Fenn; three aunts, Mary (Alfred) Griffin, Peggy Fenn, and Deborah Fenn; two uncles, Joe Fenn and Mack (Ruby) Fenn; nine cousins, Joey Fenn, Julius Fenn, Brandon Griffin, Alonzo Griffin, Tyra Griffin, Shenita (Cierra) Fenn, Sheena (Taiwan) Iverson, Kamryn and Carson Iverson; and beloved friends, Bradley Walker, Hope Hall, La’Tonya Surls, Constance Free, Yvondia Foster, Isha Tarver, Bridget Barrow, Sherry Caffie, Stephanie Hutchinson, Shanada Williams, Sherida Kelly, Cornelius; and a host of other relatives and friends.
