Huey Dickey

Huey Dickey, age 73 died Thursday, February 10, 2011.  Funeral services for Mr. Dickey will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Earnest Green officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Hills Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Dickey; mother, Tearsie Paul Dickey; daughter, Cathleen Dickey and sister, Earlene Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Dickey, four sons, Jerry Dickey of Montgomery, AL; Mark Dickey of Troy, AL; Michael Dickey (Catherine) of Dothan, AL and Randall McLendon of Brundidge, AL; seven daughters, Tammy Bush of Ariton, AL; Marquerita Tipps (Kenneth) of Troy, AL; Melissa Dickey of Troy, AL; Sara Hazel (Rodney Davenport) of Brundidge, AL; Lisa Carr (Jeff) of GA; Malena Dickey (Darrell Freeman) of Brundidge, AL; and Malinda Byrd (Mike) of Brundidge, AL; one brother, Buck Dickey of New Hope, AL; one sister Merle Chalker of Dothan, AL; a special friend, Margaret McMillan; and 34 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams, Tommy Parker, Thomas Arnold, Wesley Jacobs, Richard Wambles, and Zero Wambles, honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Freeman, Bobby Arnold, Ethan Arnold, and Duke MeHaffey.  Military honors provided by Charlie’s Angels.   In lieu of flowers a memorial fund for the family has been set up at Green Hills Funeral Home.
