Horace Edward Kilingsworth, age 83, of Troy, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. A funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2015, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Matt Raiti, Wade Dickert, Wes Dickert, David Brown, Jimmy Copeland, and Don Dickert serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Killingsworth was preceded in death by his parents, Macon and Ila Lee Killingsworth; and his wife of 62 years, Nadine Cobb Killingsworth. He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Ken) Dickert of Valley, AL; grandsons, Wes Dickert of Columbus, GA, and Wade Dickert of Memphis, TN; sister, Hilda Green of Montgomery, AL; niece and nephew, Melissa (Cromarti) Bailey of Montgomery, AL, and Keith Starling of Prattville, AL; and special caregiver, Joyce Prescott.
