Hilda Fannin

Hilda Motes Fannin, age 91, of Troy died Monday, October 7, 2019 at her home. Hilda was born to the late Walter Allen Motes and Carrie Mae Jeffcoat Motes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Rivers Fannin, her siblings, Walter Pugh Motes, Von Emory Motes, Ruth Piha, Mildred Louise Gregory, James Grady Motes and  Betty Jean Allen.

A funeral service for Hilda Motes Fannin  will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend  Bo Weed officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Her survivors include; daughter, Martha F. Copeland (Jimmy) of Troy,  son, Edgar R Fannin (Vicki) of Troy, her grandchildren, Todd (Michelle) Copeland, Chad (Donna) Copeland, Beth F. (Bryan) Oliver, great grandchildren, Max Copeland, Marx Copeland, Kaylee Copeland, Rylee Copeland, Ryan Copeland, Addison Copeland, John Rivers Oliver and Rex Oliver, a sister, Jo Ann Motes, also numerous nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in law. the family would like to extend a special thank you to Hilda's caregivers, Jean Cargile, Stephenie Foster, Fannie Croswell, Cynthia Brockton, Ashlee Tolbert and Debra Tolbert.

Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Copeland, Chad Copeland, Max Copeland, Marx Copeland, Bryan Oliver and Buddy Starling.
