Henry LaFountaine, Jr.

Henry J. LaFountaine, Jr. (Papa Hank), age, 75, of Troy, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the V.A. Hospital in Montgomery. A memorial service for Mr. LaFountaine will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Level United Methodist Church with Rev. Doc Kirby officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Full military honors will be presented by Charlie’s Angels.
Mr. LaFountaine was born in Keysville, New York on March 3, 1936. He was a carpenter/painter by trade for 52 years. He also served in the United States Air Force for 4 ½ years.
He is survived by his wife, Diane LaFountaine of Troy; sons, Jeramy Nichols of Troy and Ron LaFountaine (Mari) of CT; daughters, Carol Babineau (Ed) of VA and Debbie Bellefleur of CT; grandchildren, Jaslyn and Jacob Nichols of Troy, Missy and Brian LaFountaine of CT, Kevin and Nicole Bellefleur of CT, David, Eddie and Amanda Babineau of VA, Renee Postner (Greg) of VA; great-grandchildren, Finley and Paxton Postner of CT; three sisters and four brothers all of CT.
