“Teacher of the Year”, favorite daughter, and Best Mom & Wife in Town are some of the titles Heather has earned! She loved her family, especially her boys, and will be missed. Heather was a busy member of the Cattlewomen’s Association and served diligently in her community. As a devoted member of Brundidge Methodist Church, she enjoyed helping and working in the church activities. Heather taught for over 15 years and was currently teaching at Pike County High School. She loved her students and working with her friends there. Heather's loss has left a hole in our hearts and in our community and she will be deeply missed.
Loving survivors include her husband of 13 years, Eric Minton; son, Payson Minton; and her father, Eddie Powell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Powell; her son, Conners Minton; and her grandparents.
