Geraldine Sullivan Stokes, age 61, of Troy died Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Birmingham . Geraldine loved reading, putting puzzles together and playing with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services for Geraldine Stokes will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 12:00 noon in Green Hills Cemetery with Reverend Wilburn Kirkland officiating. Visitation will also be Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 AM at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Christina Baker of Luverne, Tammy (Robert) Allen of Jack, Lisa Rico of Ariton, Terry Stokes of Springhill, Frankie Dobbs of Millbrook, Pamela (William) Lockhart of Millbrook, 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Mike Beasley of Troy, David Freeman of Springhill, Darrell Freeman of Springhill , sister Peggy Callahan of Prospect ,TN., her special Aunt Merle. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maude Crumpler Sullivan, her husband Jerry Stokes and her brother Pat Sullivan.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Arnette, Dillon Roberts, Jamal Hillard, Trey Norton, Jared Miles ,Dave Grissette and Donnie Head.
