George Ganter

George H. Ganter, age 90, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away March 22, 2016, after a long illness. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 11:00 am at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Green Hills Funeral Home following the service. Mr. Ganter was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, served his country in WWII in the Army Air Core, and afterwards, graduated from Pace University in New York City with a business degree. He enjoyed a distinguished career as an executive in sales management with Litton Industries and Automatic Data Processing. He retired to Florida in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Janice Grant Ganter, a native of Troy, and sons, George Thomas (Anne) and Robert Joseph from a previous marriage, both of New Jersey. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ganter family.
