Erma Blair

Erma Maude Blair, age 88 of Troy died Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Troy. Erma was born April 26, 1928 to the late Dan Dansby and Molly Owens Dansby. She retired as the postmistress for Troy University. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Blair and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Erma Blair will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Brother Steve Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Survivors include; daughter and son in law, Sue Blair Martin and Bill of Hickory , North Carolina, son and daughter in law, Harry Blair and Lucille of Troy, her grandchildren, Allison (Charles) Harris, Melisa Sue Martin, Burt (Lori) Blair and Andy (Robin) Blair, great grandchildren, Landon Blair, Carson Blair, Molly Kate Blair, Gracie Blair, Jackson Blair, Stella Harris, Martha Anne Harris, Henry Harris and Andrew Regan, sister, Nell Hanson and a brother, Murray (Louise) Dansby.

Serving as pallbearers will be ; Burt Blair, Andy Blair, Jackson Blair, Landon Blair, Bill Martin and Danny Hanson.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Compassus Hospice of Troy, 199 US Highway 231 North, Troy, Alabama 36081.
