Kenneth Edward “Eddie” Sanders, II, age 29, of Troy, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery with Eric Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Charlie Hurd, Matt Shamey, Patrick Olgesby, Brandon Gibson, Kasper Taylor, Joey Mancil, Cody Ellis, and Kelsey Roberts serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robby Golden and Morgan Mancil. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Eddie was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Sanders and Milton Golden; and grandmother, Mary Sanders. He is survived by his wife Shelley Sanders; daughter, Breanna Sanders; sons, Axton Sanders and Tanner Luckenbaugh; father, Kenneth (Carla) Sanders; mother, Tina (Kenny) Shoemaker; brother, Eric (Garah) Sanders; niece and nephew, Bella and Ian Sanders; step-brother, Michael Shoemaker; step-sister, Heather Shoemaker; grandmothers, Ann Holland, Willie Ann Golden, and Maureen Stanton; and his faithful K-9 partner, Harley.
