Dr. Henry Stewart

Dr. Henry Rotan Stewart Jr., age 74 , of Troy died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home. Dr. Stewart was retired from Troy State University . While working, he was the Dean of Libraries for Troy University and an avid Troy University athletic fan. He was also a faithful member of the Troy Rotary Club.

A memorial service for Dr. Stewart will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12:00 Pm from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Arnold Officiating. Visitation  will be held from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the funeral home.

Survivors include: his wife of 40 years, Margaret Stewart of Troy, daughter, Beth Stewart of Jacksonville, Florida, grandson , JB Wright of Jacksonville, his brother, William (Donna) Stewart of Newark, Delaware, niece, Amber (Michael) D'Andrea and nephew, William (Jen) Stewart, 3 great nephews and a great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry R. Stewart Sr. and Elizabeth Phillips Stewart.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to a church or a library of your choice.
